So I am just accepting that I will never get the Skylar fursuit head I ordered. Its been 6 months past due date and still nothing. I have been waiting on this suit for 10 months and I have hardly gotten so much as work in progress pictures. I just asked them if I am actually going to get this head or should I just ask for a refund for as much as I can. Because this company is very unprofessional. I am extremely disheartened. The reviews from others that have purchased from this company gave good reviews, but mine will not be. I was emailing her on a daily basis, then I gave her some space once I had seen it had been started. Then as a few months rolled by I made sure to confirm with her that it will arrive on the set due date so I could wear it to RMFC 2013. Which I only want to go to the con, with a suit, because it looks like so much fun. Then thats when things went south. She never replied. Ever. Then it got to the point where I was agitated with this maker and she says that she moved, and that her email is "broken". Right. If she was going through a move I wish she would have informed me, because it did delay the making of my suit, and lost all connection with her. I brought this up, and she never replied. I waited a few more months since within the last conversation I had with the fursuit maker she said I will be getting him on time. So the end of july rolled around....then the beginning of august. The con dates...and Nothing. Due to extreme frustration, and the fact that I decided not to go to the con, due to late ordering prices and the fact that my suit was supposed to be sent to my home address I found her facebook and messaged it there. About a week later a reply, saying that she ran out of the green fur that is used on him so she ordered more and that it was going to take longer than expected...Again I wish she would have told me before the due date and not after. Then she cut off most communications with me, Then November. 4 months after the due date, and he still wasnt complete. At all. Im pretty pissed now because she said the green fur was all she needed to get done and he would be ready within that week. But no. The green was just applied and the black wasnt finished. I asked if I could request a refund and she ignored it and pressed on how she never got my emails, and that hes almost done, how the floppy ear needs to be fixed so thats what shes doing. THEN SHE PROCEEDS TO BRIBE ME so she wont get a bad review and so I wont be frustrated with her. She offered to put plugs in his ears (which I thought were coming with it since it is a part of his character design, and I had no idea she had no intention of doing them.) and also to draw me a badge. She sent me some progress pictures, which little has been done since the last time I saw it. On december 14th I asked her how my suit was coming along since it had been awhile. Then I messaged her again on the 19th since she once again did not reply. Then again on the 21st due to once again, no reply. Then she messaged back with the ear problem, how its always on her work table to get finished, and she PROMISED she would send me some progress pictures before chistmas, since she had them on her camera but apparently her kitten chewed up the usb chord, and her friend was going to let her borrow hers the next day.
Christmas rolled around and....big surprise here...NOTHING. Nothing at all, I decided to wait a couple days because, he its the holidays and sometimes things come up. January 4th I message her asking how the progress is going, I thought that she was going to send me pictures before christmas, but here we are in the new year and nothing.
Once again no reply.
so I just sent her this. "hey so I really would like to know how my head is going. You said you were going to post pictures before the week of christmas and here we are...still... 6 months after due date and I have no idea how the suit is going. In two more months its going to be a year since I ordered it. I really would like to know if I am ever going to get this head, or if I should just ask for a refund for as much as I can."
