So I just got this from
"CBS Dr. Phil show"
""We are interested in learning more about Furries. What do your family and friends think? Do you have anyone in your life that doesn't accept your Furry hobby or lifestyle? Has anyone lashed out or bullied you? The Dr. Phil Show believes that there are at least two sides to every story and we’d like to hear yours. We also believe in phenomenal families, so we’d like to do what we can to help relieve any stress, settle disputes or mend differences you might be having with your family or friends. If all parties are interested in coming on the show to talk to Dr. Phil, we will set up phone interviews and if chosen for the show ultimately, arrange flights to Los Angeles, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and food allowances. Thank you for your time, (contact info redacted)************** ""
My problem with this is that it makes a big deal over something that is not to me. I never got shit from family or friends and there is no drama regarding it. I don't tell my family shit about what I do at a furcon, the same way none of my friends told their parents what they do when they go to night clubs or the bars. Yeah I share my art, none of the stuff that would offend them though, because why make the hassle. As for friends 90% of my friends.
Keep in mind this guy allows people to come on his show and debate about changing people from gay to straight just because it gives his show ratings. So I publicly decline this offer. Sorry not enough drama to warrant me coming on. And it's not a platform to quell so called "negative stereotypes" either in case anyone gets that idea.
