October to December:

• Plan out Biff book. Not quite? Ended up running with a 'Monster Girl' book.
• Keep sketching. Sorta'.
• Bring more sketches to completion. Again... sorta'.
• Clear old business items (aka - Send off BtV Vol1 to Comixology SUBMIT, Get state tax ID, etc) Nope!

Fourth quarter went a little squirrel-y on me business-wise. I did manage to stick together and publish a 'Monster Girl' book (Finally!) so I'm Really happy about that. I even took advantage of a nice Black Friday deal at Staples and got myself a proper banner (only $5!) made for Biff for when I finally return to doing conventions. I did not, however, make my goal of clearing my old business items. I need a CT Tax ID so I can do my local convention but the money just wasn't there this time around.

Don't get me wrong, now. I Do want to submit my Biff books to Comixology and elsewhere. I Do want to find a solid way to monetize the work I've been doing since 2007. Unfortunately, I'm getting stuck in a financial "Kill Loop" where I'm sacking production time to make money to pay bills which could be paid by producing more. Not having a proper balance between what pays me and what could get me paid is stressing me out and killing my will to work. That said, I'm changing the Vault Rules. Instead of the blanket statement of "Make a Profit", I'm swapping it out. It's a given that I need to get paid and having it over my head like that isn't helping like I thought it would. -.-

So here we go...

January to March:

• Plan out Biff book.
• Sketch out a full-size comic book (thumbnails or full pages).
• Build & customize an Astray gunpla.

That last one is something I've wanted to do for a bit. Building models helps me relax. Knowing that they're fully functional and can be used as art models in a pinch is even better.
