Well, it's not New Years' yet (at least not here; it is in Aussieland and Hobbitville. And Britain.), but I still wish you all the best at your various festivities tonight; don't get so drunk you pay for it tomorrow morning!
Remember:
1. Drink plenty of water before you start. Like, drink an entire glass right goddamn now. I'm doing it.
2. Have something meaty to eat (heh) and greast before you start.
3. Have another glass of water (or two) in the morning when you wake up. Even if you pour it the night before, and leave it by your bed/bathroom floor
4. Eat a bacon sammich. Really. If you needed an excuse, use this. Eating a BLT in the morning after drinking (or really, any other source of carbohydrates and protein) can speed up your metabolism and provide the amino acids needed to start feeling better.

My parents would tell me of someone who would eat a stick or few of butter (not on anything, just the butter) before going out drinking. He thought it would block/slow the absorption of the alcohol.
