Obligatory New Years Journal by neonpossum

So, it's 2014 tomorrow, wow, much year, so amaze.

I am at my mums house currently and will be here till at least the 2nd January, so commissions are on hold until then.

And now, here is a list of good things that happened in 2013:

  • Got my first snake! Loki, a ball python
  • Finally got testosterone prescriptions!
  • My sister got married!
  • My other sister got engaged!
  • Charlie and I had our two year anniversary together <3
  • Went to Confuzzled!
  • Met lots of awesome and nice people
  • Ended up with two more snakes and three leopard geckos (all adopted)
  • Shingeki no Kyojin (could also be listed under bad)
  • Also got a hamster and adopted two rats.
  • Started doing collaborations with Charlie
  • Got my first real kamidana for Inari
  • Got my first real omamori and sacred rice
  • Joined the Konko faith
  • Discovered druidry
  • Attended my first mind body spirit fair as an artist
  • Started making art dolls
  • Sold lots and lots of commissions!
  • Family have become more and more accepting
  • Fursuited for the first time
  • LOTS MORE THAT I CAN'T THINK OF RIGHT NOW!

I don't feel like I should make a list of all the bad things, as I would rather focus on the good things <3

And now for my New Year resolutions:

Physical/Medical:

  • Start going to the gym (already inquired, need to book induction)
  • Walk at least every other day
  • Add money weekly to our moving home fund
  • Take a trip outside of UK somewhere!
  • Attend all of my medical appointments
  • Hopefully get, or take a big step towards chest surgery
  • Hopefully get on T injections

Business

  • Attend more small conventions and meets
  • Become more productive with artwork
  • Improve my art, especially posture, hands and humans
  • Make sure to do book-keeping at least once a week

Spiritual

  • Meditate at least 2-3 times a week
  • Expand my kamidana
  • Read all of my material on Shinto and Konkokyo
  • Help others with Shinto and Konkyo, and with their relationship with Kami-sama
  • Work on my Bardic grade studies with OBOD and BDO
  • Celebrate each sabbat with a service, as well as on the 10th and 22nd of each month.

And that is it for now! Going to be breaking these down into smaller goals and hopefully they will be achievable <3
