Merry christmas/ Whatever you celebrate Everyone!!! by Zhuria

Sorry for the late journal, I was at my grandmother's house by the beach.

I had an awesome time this christmas, went swimming on the beach and then we just ate, chatted, drank (a lot) and had fun. I watched Robots with my son and sis. And we lighted some fireworks.

My family is quite peculiar, and there's no one of us that doesn't have a loose screw or two. From drug users to plain old alcoholics (they don't hurt anyone but themselves), we're a big family of crazy people.

Vegetarian, carnivore, anarchist, comunist, socialist and sometimes even fascist points of view are discussed under the effects of alcohol. We tend to get along pretty well though. There's some days my grandparents drink a little too much and fight each other, and my grandma starts crying and speaking of suicide. The first time this happened I got scared as hell, but now, we just realized it's a matter of how much alcohol they drink, and we don't let them drink more than they can stand.

My uncle and aunt are awesome too, in their own way. My uncle did a lot of stupid stuff when he was young, but he's a good guy. When my grandparents needed him, he built a house next to theirs and supported them economically. And my aunt is the only one who can make him be a little more responsible, and the one that has the bussiness ideas. They were able to get a lot of money, and they are planning a big trip. I'm so happy for them.

My parents were there also, my mom was happy as hell that all of her children were there for christmas (counting my boyfriend and my brother's husband) as usually there was someone that didn't come. My mom is awesome too, she's an excellent worker and is in charge of the most productive group at her workplace, and she always looks 10 years younger (She's 51).

My dad is an awesome photographer, and now he is driving a bus, I miss him a little, as every time I go to their house he's either working or just too tired from work. Either way, I'm happy for him, and I was totally happy he was there this Christmas. He also looks 10 years younger.

My son is the sweetest child I could've asked for, he wanted the rechargeable batteries for christmas because he knew we were on a tight budget this year. We ended up getting him a comic he likes too, because we felt it was too little. He was so grateful that almost hurt, I wish I could give him more.

My lil sis is getting bigger and bigger, and is the cutest teenager on earth (I'm totally biased), she spent the whole evening reading Harry Potter books on my son's E-reader (which he borrowed her so she could finish reading those).

I got a pair of sunglasses that I needed a lot, my grandma gifted me an eyeliner and some hand lotion (That's quite better than the cheap ass ones I usually get) and my mom gifted me a lovely drinking glass.

I forgot my art supplies there, and threw a fit over it (poor kylfu had to listen to it), but I can use kylfu's (I just got too attached to my pencils and erasers)

I love my family, and beign together with them this time of the year was awesome. I hope I can go back there this summer, as I love the water on the beach and this time it was too short.

Merry christmas/ Whatever you celebrate Everyone!!!
