Caaaaan we all just move to Weasyl now? by Tatious
Seriously. FA has been up and down all day- Ive paid for advertising and although they said they would extend it by 10 extra days- I haven't seen my ad in AGES. Nor have I gotten much work in from it.
Definitely want to focus more here- will still upload in both places as I have over 5k people following me on FA- but maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan hope everyone starts migrating over a LOT more. I like this site!

Favorites not so much, but submissions via the google chrome add on are SUUUPER easy. i did that for my most recent commissions (can't do the whole gallery, nor do I want to) but maaan it made life easier. Agreed ^^. But sadly, not everyone is willing to make the change. They're still in the rut that we like to call FA, and they've already got such a big fanbase there, they don't want to leave. I just hope they get their heads in the right place before FA crashes and burns..... lol

I will probably poke artists I know about uploading stuff to Weasyl too, and sending it to me via collection! ~.^ After all, collected art shows to any followers I have who might not follow you.

That involves uploading it as a collection specifically, right? That whole thing confuses me which is why i avoided it.

Yeah, it's going slow as balls for me today, and more than a few people have complained that their submissions aren't showing up in peoples' watch lists. I really wish everyone would migrate here, and then stay here even after the moderators get desperate enough to actually bring FA up to par.

Its super slow for me too- and its timing out every time I try to upload. I just can't deal with it much anymore. I think for every post I make from now on I'm gonna link my Weasyl profile.

I agree. I've been accused of being a ragequitter, but it's a simple matter of practicality; FA's been having more and more downtime lately and I'm worried that one day it'll go down and not come back online. I hope Weasyl is more stable.

Anyone who calls you a rage-quitter must be like 12 and busy with minecraft. I make a huge amount of my income through FA- and when it starts acting up and being shitty it's screwing over MY business which pays MY bills. Now to make all our art friends migrate...

Totally agree with you! This site has so much potential, I know I'll keep using it but I wish people would give it a chance even when FA is online!

I mean it might run into the same heavy load as FA- BUT that being said, it already has such a friendly UI that it makes life less of a headache.

More options, looks nicer and doesn't have a bad history with content and downtime. I honestly cannot understand why people remain LOYAL to FA, continuing to use it is understandable but the loyalty people have that confuses me. :|

I already did. Deleting my FA account entirely on January 1st. I've loathed that site from the beginning personally.

Seriously that place is filthy. Since the admins never get around to jack.. people run wild and just harass each other. Its disgusting. I have no problem with leaving, I never get commissions. lol

I really like this site! FA is just not doing well I agree, it has been slowing down on me a lot more and many times it has. Specially for someone who's stuck using a first gen iPad.
