Soo... I noticed all the "FA is down journals".... and I just feel like asking "is this topic new to you?", "how long have you been a furry?" and "what did you expect?"
When people realize that if they just left FA alone, make it their secondary or third site to post to; the admins will notice the drop in art and activity that they will (probably) try to work hard on making it a better site for people. It's just like the video game industry, they get away with making crappy, unfinished games because they know the consumer will just give in and buy what ever. try thinking of the long term.
On a different note, I'm still taking cheap commissions at the moment. I am currently working on one and a few side things, but I will take a few more if anyone is interested.
I also would like to know if anyone is interested in YCH (Your character Here) type commissions from me?
Lastly, it is my birthday in 8 days. I will be turning 25 , I feel like I'm getting older Dx
I wish more people would move over to weasyl/sofurry, FA's instability and tendency of fixing problems by changing the rules instead of improving the day gets each day harder to put up with
well I'd love to make Weasyl a main base, but I'm having issues uploading stories here
and....well what makes FA for me is my friends there. I hold them dearly.
and I would never EVER go back to SoFurry, it was a nightmare there.
This tool, http://projects.weasyl.com/fenderbender/ , is making the 'can't find friends' problem much easier to deal with. Paste in your FA watchlist, match up people you know and add people the tool doesn't know...and it's easier for the next person. I must've fixed or vouched for 100 usernames on it yesterday!
Happy early birthday :3 I've been liking what I've seen art-wise from you, I'd sure be willing to commission ya or bid on a YCH. Maybe once I finish my new character I'll get something :3
Happy early birthday to you man! I miss the days when all secrets and costumes can just be unlocked by finishing the game or inputting codes x3
thank you! and I know!!! I worked hard on those old games. not just for achievements, not for someone to come by and add a shit ton of content later because "oh, it was suppose to be with the game originally, but we forgot/didn't have time to add it... so now you gotta pay an extra $20 bucks to get something you should already have had" .
my comment on the video game part. I think younger gamers don't even know what quality is! So they're fine with what gets made without knowing any better. I think that's why game companies get away with poor quality garbage. And especially Nintendo. Don't get me wrong. I love my 3DS but with 2000+ titles in their DS and 3DS library? Ok most of those suck.... I have my favorites but how many versions of Nintendogs, Cooking Mama and Jewel Quest clones do we really need? The Android mobile game market is much worse. Don't even get me started on that!
