Hey everyone,

I’m back in Sydney after a big weekend at Brisnova 2013 with and RadiantGlyph. The weekend was aaaamazing! :>

First of all, sales at my table went really good! It actually went a lot better than what I expected and I wish I had brought more stock. After Supanova Sydney earlier this year didn’t go quite as well as I had hoped I was wondering if doing conventions was the thing for me. But this is just the kind of boost I needed to raise my spirits and get me to push on! So a big thanks to everyone that dropped by my table :D

A big highlight of my weekend was getting to meet Purple Kecleon! I love her artwork … and her characters and stories … and she’s just and all around rad person. I was so nervous meeting her (and I’m not usually a shy person!) and I hope I didn’t act like a goose around her. PK IF I WAS WIERD I’M SORRY hahaha ; w ;

It was also great getting to hang out with Mamath and taking home one of her FoxBoxes c: And it’s always nice getting to talk to and know the other artists in the Artist Alley including Ry Spirit and the guys from Bulbagarden. You guys are all awesome! I hope we can hang out more at future cons :>

Anyway, I think the only other thing worth mentioning (well, it didn’t really happen at the con but it was still part of the experience) is the … interesting(?) night life of Brisbane. Having ladies attempting to lure my pals and I into a seedy door in the side of a building with ‘HOT LESBIAN CHICKS THIS WAY’ written in chalk on the side walk was … interesting? Oh, Brisbane.
