Code of Conduct reminder by FurFright

There's only a few simple, common sense guidelines you need to follow to have a fun, relaxing weekend at FurFright! It's not rocket science or brain surgery. Hell, it's not even "WalMart Greeter"! It's easy!

-- Code Of Conduct: When you register (pre-reg or at-the-door) you agree to and sign a Code Of Conduct. READ IT! Every person is expected to stay within these guidelines. PLEASE READ: http://www.furfright.org/codeofconduct.html

The Code Of Conduct is common sense stuff. Just don't go out of your way to be an idiot and you're fine. ;)

-- You MUST Have A State-issued Photo ID To Pick Up Your Badge!: It's been plastered all over the website, but we'll remind you again. You cannot enter the convention without presenting a VALID PHOTO I.D. Per order of the law, only the following forms of ID are considered valid:

A current US- or Foreign-issued driver's license

A current State-issued ID (an ID offered to those who do not have a driver's license)

A current Government or Military ID

A current Passport

-- You MUST Own & Display A 2013 Convention Badge To Be In The Hotel/Convention Space! The entire hotel is rented convention space (a private event), and only registered attendees are allowed.

-- The hotel has updated their guest room noise curfews for this year's event. The late-night section (floors 1-2) curfew is Midnight. The quiet section (floors 3-4) curfew is 10pm. Please be respectful of your neighbors and our hotel hosts by keeping room noise down, especially during sleeping hours.

-- Don't Block Entrances or Doorways! Another item in the Code Of Conduct we need to remind people of is NOT to block the front entrance or ANY doorway! As per state laws/fire codes entrances MUST be kept clear! Remember, if you're blocking an entrance or door, you're breaking the law and will be asked to move.

-- If you get so drunk (or stupid) that you lose control of reason and sense and can't follow the Code Of Conduct or instructions from convention and hotel staff, FurFright isn't the con for you. Stay home. Seriously.

Having a fun, relaxing FurFright is easy. All you have to do is register and not act like an idiot. ;)
