Had a short hiatus as I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed. It went perfectly fine, and I allowed myself downtime from both commission work and my job to recover. I'm back to it this week, starting with finishing all the Byzantine Badges and a few of the nearly-done sample commissions.
Wisdom teeth info: quick and easy procedure. All four were under the gums, and impacted apparently. But thank goodness I didn't get sedated or put under, since I really didn't want to be loopy all day. The surgeon was great, and described what he was going to do, how it would 'feel' (even numbed, there is a deep pressure when they pull out the teeth), etc.
So, after two rounds of Novocaine shots, they went to work and it was done in what felt like under half an hour. To elaborate, it was pretty surreal to willingly let somebody hold my head in place as another drilled, spiked, and tugged teeth out of my skull! A day full of firsts: first stitches, first shot in the mouth (those syringes are no joke, huh?), in fact first surgery I've had since I was a toddler. I felt pretty cocky afterwards since I was fully capable of walking out by myself, not being drugged, lol. Thankfully when the numbness wore off I was already on my pain medication.
I'm barely swollen today, two days after the procedure, and pretty much feeling fine. I'm sure to get my energy back slowly. :)
So that's what's up!

What's with everybody getting their wisdom teeth removed lately? My calendar doesn't say anything about it being national wisdom teeth month. Good to hear your feeling good though. Now back to work! X)
