I’m just genuinely curious.
I want to start being more actively engaged on here. Personally I’ve always loved this website and its usability. Never have been able to understand why it’s so empty. I find it far better than FA and DA combined. Just that nobody uses it.
But what with the mass exodus happening over at FA, there appears to be more people moving over. Still not enough in my opinion. But I figured I should gauge how many people actively watch my stuff.
Let me know. Do you regularly use this site? Are you now that FA fucked up?
I’ll try to journal on here more.

There are tons of people leaving FA right now, but so few of them state Weasyl as an alternative. I just don't get it. What happened to cause this site to not even be considered by most people? Is it a policy thing? I've never had any issues with this site.

It's not a problem of the site, it's more about the people. It's a vicious circle where artists don't wanna leave FA because their clients are in FA, and the clients don't leave FA because the artists they follow are in FA. It's mostly about convenience. Even though the site is hot garbage, if just a little portion of it leave, people prefer to keep using FA because everyone is over there. People can be quite lazy even though there are tools like PostyBirb to ease the uploading process. Many folks also don't like the hassle of maintaining multiple galleries at the same time, so there's also that.

Well I usually se FA and DA and all, but the more places I have to watch artists the better I can keep tuned to whatever they post and when it's about the ones I genuinely like, it's worth following them here. so I'm following you here

I actually check Weasyl daily and have been for years. I just don't respond to stuff as often as I should.

I've mostly used it as a backup for FA.
There used to be a browser plug-in that copied my submissions to Weasyl, of course now I mostly just use PostyBirb

I've been using this site as my main hub for a long time. I just don't comment a lot, but I do check it everyday.
The main problem with this site is people say they're leaving FA for good, but they don't. If people actually left that shithole, the site would be a lot more active.
