Recent Departure from Weasyl by Taw

As a few people have noticed, the other day I was taken off of the Weasyl team.

This was my own decision and I put in two weeks notice to the team to clear up any responsibilities I had left and finish anything assigned to me.

I had a few reasons for leaving, and for those wondering and drama-hungry, no, it wasn't to do with the Weasyl Project in any way. In fact, I would've loved to stay and be a part of it, but a major reason I left the team was due to needing my free time for other things.

Firstly, I told the team I was going to focus more on game development, as I've been in contact with a few people in the industry, and I also have a few jobs upcoming to gain experience through independent developers, which I will then use to get my foot in the door to larger companies and further my career.

Secondly, last month there was a tragedy in my family - due to this, and because I barely saw my mother since I was fifteen (After college I moved to Ontario to see family I hadn't seen in years), I wanted to spend more time with the people I love.

So yeah, I'm no longer working on Weasyl, it was a fun two years helping the team, working on the forums, helping with tickets, training staff, etc. I really hope the site continues to grow and can't wait to see how it develops in the future!
