Music for the Day

There has been a slight delay in the moving plan. In a previous journal, the move was initially supposed to happen on Friday, April 15. But my dad and I weren’t feeling all too well, and it took us until midday until we felt well enough to work on the heavy stuff. As such, dad decided to reschedule the move to Saturday, April 16.

It’s not that bad. Besides, it’ll be on a Thursday when work starts next week, so there is plenty of time. I am somewhat disappointed in myself for not feeling as well as I should have on this day, but that’s nothing that I can fix without rest. Besides, I’ll be doing the longest drive in my life so far. Even with a decent car like I have, my feet will be killing me by the end, so I need all the strength that I can get.

As for the house renovation update, they have set up the new base cement with rebars sticking up on top. I’m sure that, in the coming days, they’ll be stacking the blocks up, though it’ll have to be until the cement is cured. So far, nothing has changed on the inside, though I’m sure that will change as soon as we leave.
