When I was little..........we had a couple of dogs though my childhood. One dog we found as a stray and we named her "Somebody", because..........well, maybe she once belonged to somebody. But another dog we had, we named her "Duchess", because she had this white mark like a crown that was on the top of her head as a puppy (it moved more down her neck as she grew)--however, she really was dumb-as-a-brick and we mostly called her "Stupid" or "Silly", which she always answered to. Kids will be kids with silly names. XD

I love your nicknames, ha ha. But honestly "baby soap" is such a strong starting point to begin wit!

I have a cat named Jelly. Mostly his nicknames are just me pronouncing Jelly in various strange ways, but my friend Ettie once joked that my cat's full name is Gelatin, when he's in trouble. I also call him "little boyo", as a mispronunciation of "bouya" (japanese for "son").
