i mentioned it in passing but ive been homeless for a little over 2 years. im disabled and an abuse survivor so i was honestly expecting this to happen at some point. tbh i think it needed to happen. i had (well, still have....) a lot of emotional baggage from my abuse and being homeless i managed to find a lot of resources and now im much better mentally! thankfully ive been in a shelter these last 2 years instead of having to rough it, even with shelter life having its own unique hells.

my best friend has been homeless with me and on monday we get to move in to our new place! as we are starting from pretty much nothing ill probably be opening commissions, or making ychs or adopts or something. we will need necessities for the apartment and supplies for my esa cat T_T

i mostly cant believe this is finally happening...in the last 2 years ive never felt more stressed out. and i got hit by a car in 2019 while i was homeless!! jesus. theres a huge weight off my chest knowing after this weekend i wont have to live in a shelter anymore.
