Hi hi friends!

Sorry for lack of more pride adopts this weekend. Partly due to two reasons. One, I kinda wanna move on to the next type of adopt or whatever. (I've got a new base that is close to being released I'm kinda excited about.) But also, it has been a week for me!

So Wednesday and Thursday of last week at work were long. Joint Commission aka JACHO was visiting the hospital I work at. While I don't really interact directly with them since I'm a night shifter and they don't want to come in that late/early (lol), it was still a bit tense because of that.

Friday was fun, though. A good friend convinced the mate and I to go camping. I had a ton of fun! It was front camping (I think she called it) so we made a fire and pitched a tent at this state park, but our car was right near by and there were bathrooms and showers close at hand. We only did the one night. Then a bit of hiking and exploring a near by town. Found a delicious pizza place and got a GIANT orange crush float in an adorable ice cream cone cup. <3

Unfortunately, not all of Saturday was fun. I found out the news about Draconis. (If y'all know him and haven't heard, he had a massive stroke that caused permanent brain damage and passed away.) I don't know if I'm more upset by that news or about how upsetting this has to be for Keefur (his best friend and roommate for a long time now. Their bromance was the thing of legends, y'all).

Sunday was busy too! Had my family over for gaming and then that even with a social event with our Little Scouts troop. They were doing a fundraiser and I may have gotten a bit too much. XD But I also bought a sticker they had made of the flag I designed for them. I thought that was so cool!

Then yesterday I have a follow-up appointment with my PCP. On the plus side, we're gonna try to titrate my Effexor down. On the other hand, though, seems I'm slightly iron anemic ... again. So along with my folic acid and B12 (because I get those anemias too), I'm restarting my iron again. Only every other day, though, so that's good.

And then today I had a dental appointment to place my crown on my tooth.

Then work Wednesday and Thursday. Minor chill Friday but it's the mate's birthday so I dunno. We're thinking of visiting his mom and brother on Saturday. Then family day on Sunday again. Then a week's break before we go on vacation along with my family.

So yeah! It's been a bit busy! While my "to upload queue" is a bit small at the moment, I think it's kinda fair! XD
