Hey everyone! First of all, we want to thank you for subscribing to Furry Mystery Box. We really appreciate having you with us!

This message is just to keep you up to date on the upcoming changes with FMB. Some of these are pretty big and we don't want anyone getting confused or lost about what's going on.
First and foremost, we're changing the cut-off and ship dates of the boxes. Instead of the cut off being the second of the month on box months, it will instead be on the last day of the month. So, for example, the cut off date for the upcoming June Box will be June 30th, while it was previously June 2nd.
The reason for this is pretty simple. Prior to 2020, we handled manufacturing on some items in a different manner and we had the cut-off date on the 2nd to allow us time to make sure we had the correct number of shirts produced. Now we produce far more shirts and can do so in advance of the box release date, so we no longer need a few weeks of time in-between the cut-off and shipping the box.

As a result, though the cut-off is later in the month, the delay between the cut-off and the shipping of the boxes will be highly reduced and we'll be shipping them much more quickly after that date.
Additionally, to avoid confusion on that front, the names of the boxes will be changed as well. Instead of being March Box, June Box, Sept Box and Dec Box, they'll be Spring Box, Summer Box, Fall Box and Winter Box.

We are also more likely to do the boxes with a bit of a theme. For example, our theme for the upcoming Fall Box is going to be "horror". This means that a few of the items will be specifically tailored to this theme, most notably the shirt and one of the large items. There will still be some items in the box which may be more generalized and not fitting to the them, this is to make things more accessible for everyone.
If you already have a subscription that renews between June 3rd and June 30th, don't worry. You won't be charged twice for the Summer Box. Instead, we're going to be pushing your renewal date back so it's closer to the release of the next box. Your new renewal date will be Sept 15th.

Along with this change, we'll be instituting the ability to pause or skip a box. If we have an upcoming themed box that you're not interested in, you'll be able to choose to pause your subscription for that box and simply skip it until the next box.
Part of the reason we're instituting this feature is because of our next big change. We'll be increasing the price of subscriptions from $25 to $30.

As we've grown as a company, we've found ourselves finding more and more cool items we can produce to have in the box. There are a few that we've really been wanting to have which are a little out of our price point at $25. Adding an extra $5 per box allows us to expand and provide even more cool furry swag for you to enjoy, letting us take some risks on more unusual or expensive items we can offer.
BUT! If you're already one of our subscribers, not to worry. You'll actually be able to keep the Legacy Price on your subscription, meaning that even when the price goes up, your cost will stay the same and you'll get even more items for just $25! However, if you unsubscribe at some point and resubscribe to the service, you'll get the higher price point. So be sure to use the pause feature wisely to avoid losing the Legacy Price!

We've got some Pride Merch available for Preorder. Currently we have a shirt, lanyard and enamel pin online, but in June we'll be expanding with a few other products as well.

Last, but not least, if you're in Chicago during Fourth of July weekend, we'll be vending at Anime Midwest, in Chicago. It's our first con since early 2020 and a good opportunity to pick up some of the rarer items that will be going out of stock soon, now that we're getting new inventory in!
