So Christmas has just passed. We didn't get a tree this year, but we did make cookies.

Also I got a new desktop this year as a present of sorts. So that's a bonus. I'm going to start using it more often. The one I'm currently using is breaking down, and becoming a lot more harder to manage. The new one is better, no where near as laggy and glitchy.

Things here, where I am, seem to have calmed down a bit. There's another outbreak of COVID-19 that has recently happened, resulting in an area of NSW being locked down. But ultimately, it's nowhere near as bad as what's happening in the United States. Goodness, my home country has become a mess.

This year has been absolutely chaotic for sure. Not just because of the virus, but for a variety of different reasons. And I spent the near entirety of the year inside the house, bored out of my mind, and not going into any public places. Well, I did take walks around to the nearby park here and there. But I'm talking about places outside my neighborhood, beyond walking distance. Throughout the whole year, I've hardly been anywhere that far. Except maybe the store, but that's beside the point.

Quarantine is a necessary thing for sure, but it still sucks. That's about all there is to that.

But you know, this holiday season for me and my family wasn't too bad. It was just normal, and we found enjoyment in what we had. My parents enjoyed a great Christmas meal, and I got a new computer. Overall, pretty decent.

New Years is coming up. I'll likely make another journal before then.
