Had a rather interesting Christmas this year. Despite the unusual changes in celebrating as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, that didn’t stop me from going so far as to help uplift people’s spirits. In addition to getting gifts for close family members and relatives, I got gifts for my friends from far across the country, and my friends told me they love the gifts I got them.

For my Christmas, I watched a few Christmas specials on DVD that I feel are imperative to watch every year, had a special meal with my mother, opened presents, watched “Soul” on Disney+, had a Zoom chat with extended family, and watched a couple more films with my mother (including “Singin’ In the Rain” and “White Christmas”).

Here are the gifts I got this year:

-Super Mario 3D All-Stars for the Switch
-Mario and Sonic At the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 for the Switch
-New bath towels and washcloths
-Two new pillows
-Extreme Origami kit (featuring origami models made out of dollar bills)
-Volume 9 of the “Beastars” manga series and stickers to accompany it
-A wooden decor template that says “2020 would not recommend” and has a 1-star rating
