Ah yes... It's past midnight. The Washington skies are pitch black and sprinkled with stars. The only other light source is where confused moths flutter about the small lamps on our house wall.

Here I am in the dark sitting in front of my mom's computer, wearing my usual pair of headphones while listening to Pokemon black and white OST, as well as wearing a pink hoodie and fuzzy dog-printed PJ bottoms, writing this. I don't know...

I feel a sense of peace for some reason. One of our dogs is not too well, and he just got home today from the animal hospital, although...he seems very relaxed and secure. Just seeing him sleep so soundly makes me happy knowing that he isn't in pain and that he will soon recover. I hope all of you are doing well. These hard times are very heartbreaking and difficult to get through. Just remember...try to make the most out of your time and don't lose hope ^^
