One of the reasons why I don't socialize in things like discord and the like is because you will always find unsavory people who would downright judge you for not liking what they like. Some of these individuals would come down hard on you judging and pointing nonsense along with a barrage of insults while writing long tl;dr paragraphs of any single thing they think they know about you just for your choice of things you favor against what they like.

And because this is discord we are talking about (along with any other chatroom, forum, etc. that features fandoms,) said psychotic behavior is backed up by those who run it, so you can forget about even having the right to defend yourself and tell those who pick on you to leave you the fuck alone, otherwise you get banned or the like.

How are these types right about anything will be something that will forever confound me, but I will say that no one has to take this kind of crap without setting their foot down, no matter what the outcome of it all.

You are not going to be forced into someone else's point of view. If they have a problem with it then its their fault for refusing in being open minded in the first place and realize not everyone likes what they like.

Case in point, when I joined that "Digiartist's Domain" discord server I was faced with an overly sensitive brony forcing me to like that mediocre game that was banned by Hasbro turned into their own thing, which I have no interest on whatsoever, pinging me and typing in caps how I "hate everything" among other unsavory judgmental tidbits which had no merit just because I didn't care about such things. Of course I defended myself and kindly told him in private to fuck off before blocking him, which is a reaction anyone would have when you find psychos trying to harass you online I believe.

The owner of said server (and that particular site) didn't see it that way, angrily typing at me about hurting his buddy and even going as far as dismissing the fact that I was going through hard times (still am) which I mentioned earlier all to defend a bully that was currently attacking me in such manner. I got banned from that server when I told him he could take a hike just as well and am not sorry in doing so. If you reading this have common sense you would acknowledge that such things aren't one sided and I would not be taking things on a light note when such people attack others like that over something as stupid as some fanmade game based on a little kids cartoon, all the way to the point of thinking little of the crap you go through in real life thinking it has no grounds in comparison.

And I do hope that guy is reading this. Because I used to respect that site being its founded under my favorite animated show I still hold dear to me but seeing how one can be treated really put a damper on my opinion about that place. Like I said in a previous journal, if they dont want my works on their site its their problem. If they ever step up and take responsibility on their actions then maybe I will try to submit again.
