TLDR; Word has it that if the Patreon moderators don't like what you say or post anywhere on the internet, including other websites which aren't even linked to your Patreon page, they will suspend your account on their platform then demand ownership of your creations and / or access to your accounts on other websites in order to reinstate it. Again it doesn't have to be in any way related to your Patreon activity: Despite there not even being anything about this in their actual rules, their trust & safety team is trying to use its power to take control of what any user is allowed to say anywhere online and become an internet police. As insane as that may sound, there are multiple users reporting that this happened to them since late 2019. This is a buffed up version of what Furaffinity has been doing to its content creators.

Despite Patreon having saved me and my mother's lives, my gratitude has its limits; If this is indeed the case, the original Patreon service I once knew and praised is dead to me, and today's version of Patreon can rot in a pile of shit where it belongs. I have no doubt the government must be involved as usual, with this being another takeover part of its war against the internet and modern culture. I will continue to use it till they shut down my account if they ever plan to, then just like Twitter it's good riddance once I'm out. No idea what I'd survive from if that ever happened, but for those who know me, I'll gladly put my life on the line to stick it to such disgusting and demented tyrants... granted I have the guarantee I'll indeed die rather than being stuck with a more miserable life, things might get a bit more complicated then.

My advice to everyone using Patreon: Be attentive, but do NOT let yourself be intimidated by whoever has their dirty hands on Patreon now! Don't give them your passwords or access to your accounts or any other form of control over what you do online! There are already good alternatives out there such as Subscribestar if they come for you... those haven't yet been compromised by the fascists who stole Patreon, though perhaps it's time we all work on creating even better systems, especially with blockchain / cryptocurrency being such a big thing nowadays. In the meantime please spread the word to warn others about this.
