Happy Fourth of July, everyone. While this year with the COVID-19 pandemic we cannot enjoy the traditional celebrations I hope you are all having a good summer and staying safe. Wear your mask, wash your hands, and if you do go to visit someone I hope you respect social distancing for the most part and do your part to stay healthy.

When I think of the Fourth this year I am reminded of the summers when I used to go to Anthrocon and they would launch fireworks from the bridges. It's hard to believe how long ago that was now but I'm confident we'll get there again.

I hope that when we are back to normal or as close as we can get that we really appreciate those times with friends much more than we ever have before. I always count my blessings but I think the next time I'm at a furry con I'll count them just a little bit more.
