🌱Comics about Demons or Monsters? by Uluri

I want to read series that are about demons and/or monsters where the Main Character is a Non-human.

Demons: Humanoid or Non-human demons. I AM NOT looking for a series about a Human who is figuratevly a demon. At least Horns on the guy, man. I'm really sick of series where its a human with a demon-like personality and not an actual Demon.

Monster: Non-human Series about Creatures and Monsters. No, I'm not talking about your standard anthro furry comics slice of life/hentai. I mean MC is a creature, a monster, even a Kemonomimi on an adventure in a relatively High fantasy theme.

Some series I have been enjoying are riencarnated as a Dragon Egg, and S-rank behemothlongasstitleredacted On the monster end. OH and this one "The Vengeful White Cat Lounging on the Dragon King's Lap" has been a really cute one (even though MC is technically human, but most of the story is as a Cat). Those are three off the top of my head. I like them.

I don't have stories with Demon MCs because so many people write about humans with demonic personalities innstead. Frustrating. I do, however, really enjoy "accidentatlly becoming a demon/lord" themed series. I am suspecting that "Moonled Journey across another world" is going to be like that. Oooh this is like, my absolute favorite. Mangadex Link HERE.

I know this isn't 100% what you said you wanted (maybe borderline "if/kinda"), but there was a Shounen Jump series that VIZ translated some years back, that I enjoyed--"Nora: Last Chronicle of Devildom" by Kazunori Kakei. While one of the two MC's was human, the other was a demon (though probably because in the human world, he portrayed him as a human-form most of the time)--and the human MC was a real a-hole, too. lol It was an interesting take on Demon Society and when Nora did transform into Cerberus--the author did a pretty fabulous job on his monster design. Like most shounen series, it had a lot of action in it. At the end of the 9 volumes, though VIZ didn't do the sequel series, there was supposedly a sequel series listed there. Though, admittedly, they do use a lot of "human form" demons, probably because of the interaction in the human world--and likely the artist's tastes/skills. But, like I said, the Demon Society was portrayed pretty interestingly and I did enjoy the rather short plotline and length. But it's shounen, so--take it as you will. chuckle

I only know old things, though.........so, I don't think I can recommend anything "new" or "modern"........'cause I'm kinda old...... rubs back of neck

XD I'm reading this one. It's a pretty good series. Gets a little hard to read around the Multi-thought part, but then picks itself back up on the story again afterwards. If you read that one and like it, you might like Dragon's Egg. I'm a Spider is getting an anime, and its in CG and it worries me. Ima watch it just to see, but its not the good kind of CG it looks from the Commercials.

The comic Undertown might be worth noting, it’s heavily inspired by manga
