So that's 31 orbits around Sol, huh?

In the last year, I was uprooted from Northeastern Ohio by the need for work, learned how to tolerate an unpleasant climate and an unwalkable place where you have to drive and drive to do anything. But hey, I can see rocket launches from my bedroom window when it's clear, and from the three mile (5km) roadblocks when I'm at work. There are local friends like Syro, Wildmark, Heath, and Strix. The money's coming in too, I can finally launch projects and miniprojects without risking my reserves. (There was a mental health crisis about two months back but I don't really want to go into it, it's a wonder my job survived it this time.)

Talked to my family a bit via videophone, this is the first time I've been away for my birthday. Every other time I was there or just a short drive away. It's still kind of lonely, the original plan was to travel home for Memorial Day weekend but COVID has made such things impractically hazardous. Guess I'll go drown those feelings in some ice cream from Frisbee's in Mims this evening. Takeout, of course.

Let's see, what's in that rapid-fire season previews...
-A cost of living adjustment? My rent went up again.
-Rocket launches
-Work episodes that are a bit more interesting and less full of angst about being use-impaired
-No convention episodes this season due to safety concerns
-Fursona III gets a name?
-Fursuit and plush construction?
-Maybe I find time for worldbuilding?
-Lots of inflatables, specifically a not so mini miniproject (underway) and two prototypes (renders partially done, likely a summer and fall prototype) from the stack of designs I've been waving around.
-A political situation that might leave us speaking of the "former United States"?! I guess the title makes sense now
