Out of twenty-three drivers, only thirteen made it through the heats and last-chance qualifier to race in the A-Main at the end of the night at the inaugural FURCAR race on the dirt at Eldora Speedway. Croco Chilton led the field to the green flag, but his night did not continue well soon after that as drivers bumped and slid their way around the track. Forty laps into the first segment, Croco found himself sandwiched between Kenku and Draco going into Turn 3. All three trucks were spun out or banged into the outer wall. Unfortunately, Croco sustained enough critical damage to his truck that he limped it into the pits where his crew scrambled to make repairs as soon as possible. By the third and final segment, Belic Bear, who had failed to qualify in his heat and just squeaked into the final qualifying position in the last-chance race, had slid his way into the top-3, Edscott following tightly in his wake. When the checkered flag flew, the pair had grabbed first and second place, with Raz Yoshi (having finally pried himself out of the heat in the Southwest) finishing third.

But there's no rest for the weary (or the exhilarated) and now it's back onto pavement as FURCAR takes a hop, skip, and a jump to the Brickyard! See you there!
