This is the convention I have called my home the past two years and I couldn't be happier about returning this year. Only a little more than a month remaining before Amarok and I leave with the caravan from Tyger's house and return to the hotel in Memphis that I have grown very fond of in a short amount of time. I never want the weekend to end when it gets here even though I am staff.

If you would like to submit artwork or stories to MFM's conbook:

-They should probably be zoo-themed.

-Art should be submitted in as large a resolution as possible for quality purposes.

-Stories should be no longer than 1,500 words.

For those of you going to Mephit Fur Meet or considering going, we host an amazing charity auction for Tiger Haven, a no-kill shelter for big cats. I love the auction, it's a fantastic cause and so many people show such awesome displays of generosity. Even a bottle of Bacardi Wolf Berry (priced at retail for $18) went for $300 or more just to support the kitties!

Whether you plan to purchase something from the auction, donate an item to the auction, or just donate your money directly here are some details!

The auction itself is currently slated for Sunday, September 1st at 1pm. You can donate items to the auction on Friday from 10am to 4pm and on Saturday from 10am to 2pm. There is also a Tiger Haven Poker Tournament on Saturday, August 31st from 6PM to 9PM and Tiger Haven also has a presence in the dealer's den! So many ways to contribute!
