Making comics and the problems you may run into by Chri

If you are anything like me, you are likely going to run into a few issues. I just wanted to get a few I deal with, so far, out there.

  • Overwhelmed. Every once in a while the knowledge of what you need/want to have done becomes overwhelming. You may want to do everything at once and find yourself a bit at a loss with what to do first.

  • Suggestion: Write what you want down, so you got it all there. Add on to it when and if you need to. You can number them, roll a dice and that could be a way of deciding. Or figure out what is more important. Or if you are actually feeling a bit more like doing this instead of that, then do this. Right now, my main focus is the characters. I want to get the important character designs out of the way, so I can look at them over and over and figure out if I am truly satisfied with them.

  • Procrastinate. I think it requires a certain amount of will power to get myself to work on the comic. I mean, I want to work on it, but I feel that .... what should I call it... pull? to not do it. To do something else. Maybe it's that fear of failure? I am not really sure. I am pretty sure it happens to a lot of people though. So I/you are not alone.

  • Suggestion: I can't really think of something as a suggestion except for just do it. Do something. Even if you just think about the comic for a few moments, or look at what you have so far. Is what you got how you want it? You could even use the time to do a bit of research.

That's all I got for now and probably more then needed on this post.

Thanks for reading.
