Happy New Year!

Some of ya are waking up with either a drink hangover, a party hangover or a gaming hangover I imagine. :P

I am intensely glad it's 2020. My dad had a cancer scare in 2019 unfortunately, so now he's missing a good deal of his colon. He is cancer free though. And just before new years, the sewer backed up into our house a couple inches (thank the RNG we had a back flow preventer valve), decimating part of the carpet in my basement room & damaging several items in the furnace room. My depression & anxiety overtly worsened, partly in thanks to those events & the real world RNG wouldn't shut up about the chaotic maudlin of political intrigues. Yeah. 2019 can bite me. Glad that crap is dealt with & I survived it.

But yeah, it's 2020! Calgary is getting a new hockey stadium that will start construction this year! Already it's day 1 & I'm in a much better mood. Not to mention new carpet in the basement, which we actually needed anyway [in my & my mother's humble opinion]. I'm getting a new GPU for my computer! Gonna be playing at 144Hz finally <3 . New Year's is supposed to be about embracing change & cleaning the slate. I couldn't agree more.

So take it from this humble dragon: Each new year is a chance to restart, rebuild burned bridges & learn to not give a rat's arse about the rhetoric of the world's partisans & dipsticks. Let's all do this to make the world a better place. So let's get to changing it as such. Power to the <3
