Hey I'm finally back from MFF and my post-MFF trip as well! Just taking a liiiittle more time to get settled now that I'm home again, but very soon I will begin on take-homes and on sending out scans of all the pics I did at-con, so just hang tight!

Now how was my actual con? Hmm... interesting question! Well, as far as art goes, it was a massive success! I was afraid MFF would be so big that a small-time artist like myself would be overlooked, but on the contrary, it was so big that it was my most successful con yet! I could hardly even keep up! x3 I got to meet a lot of really cool people who came by and said hi, and then to come home and see a lot of you guys following me now is super flattering and I'm just so glad (and relieved). ;u;

Not to mention, I found surprising success in the art show as well (over half my pieces sold!), which I was DEFINITELY not expecting. One of my hopes for MFF was to "gather data" about, well, "where my art stands" in this furry world of ours, and between the art show and selling at my table, I think I've got some really good insight now. If nothing else, I wanted MFF to be a learning experience, and it certainly was...

...because on the flip side of all that art success, con-wise I kinda... didn't have one. TwT My table was at the front of the alley all three days, and I let myself be so busy that I never once took a break to go around and actually wander deeper and explore—in fact I never even learned where the Dealer's Den WAS! So... I guess that's a little disappointing, and all the more reason I appreciated people coming to see me, because I never had the chance to go out and see anyone else. Le sigh. But as I said, it was a good learning experience. Fortunately, despite being so busy, I was never overwhelmed, and now I have a better idea of what to expect so I can plan better for next time. nods
