A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood - movie review by JohnStripedfur

When I was a very little kid, there were two shows I watched a lot. Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. I grew up watching those programs on PBS and learned a lot growing up. Both of those shows held a very deep connection in my heart. So, I was already pretty excited to see this movie as I have many nostalgic feels about Mr. Rogers and the movie seems like it'll capture those feels as well as learning about the article the movie was based on.

The movie is about a cynical magazine writer who wrote many exposes about many people and one day, the editor asked him to write a profile about probably the most kindest man in the world, Mr. Rogers. Pretty much as a test for the writer to see if he can see the flaws of Mr. Rogers. But, throughout the entire movie, not only he can't find any. Mr. Rogers himself helps out the writer get through his own issues. And I find that very fascinating. Which I would say is who Mr. Rogers is all about. He sees the good in everyone and wants to help people see that. And this movie did it justice.

Overall, a very well made movie about the embodiment of Mr. Rogers. If you grew up watching Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, you will like this movie.
