Considering "Deleting" My Account by DuckyDeathly
Hello everyone! I'd like to just let you all know that I'm considering deleting my Weasyl account. Well, not technically delete since I've been told that you can't actually delete an account. What I will probably do is simply delete all art and personal info on here and just redirect everyone to my other sites.
Not for any big dramatic or serious reasons! It's simply because I don't really consider this site a big priority as a means to share my art.
I have similar feelings toward FurAffinity, but I have a tad bit more of an active fanbase on there. Plus, I do feel as if FA is a good place for me to share primarily anthro/furry/non-human art.
On top of all of that, while I do love and highly prefer characters of the non-human category, I don't consider myself a furry.
(I know you don't have to be one in order to be on sites like FA and Weasyl, but I know things here and there are more central to that fandom/identity.)
If I happen to have any followers on here that don't have FA/Twitter/Tumblr/DA/FB and want me to stay, let me know and I'll consider sticking around at least for a little while longer. Otherwise, I'll probably delete this account at the end of this month.

If I do go ahead and decide to delete (or even just empty out this account), I'll make one last journal beforehand.

Ahh! Thank you for letting me know! I suppose that is probably what I will probably do instead since I can't actually delete it.

I prefer following people on here just because its open source and supports the "little guy" art site, but I'd follow you on DA / FA if you stopped using it.
Have you looked into PostyBirb? A lot of people uploading to multiple sites use it so they can get their stuff everywhere with minimum effort.-
That makes sense! And ahh that means a lot to me uvu That makes me consider staying actually. I've never heard of PostyBirb but after looking it up just now, I really like the sound of it! Even without Weasyl and FA in the mix, I do have to post on multiple sites at a time and this would be a huge help. Thank you for letting me know about it and your overall input on the matter!

You can't delete accounts here. Weasyl has no way of deleting accounts and staff can not do it either. If you don't want to use your account you have to delete everything and all personal information. That's the best you can do.
