Patreon is changing soon. Might be closing by Zaezar

Post with the info itself, as well as to read other people's thoughts so far. https://www.patreon.com/posts/this-patreon-is-31283709

TL;DR: Patreon isn't doing what I need it to do. 3 options of where it can go, one is to nuke it. Info below as well as in the link above.

Copied from the post itself.
I have decided that this Patreon page, as it currently stands, is not something I want to continue with. My original goal upon opening this was to have it effectively supplement my income such that I can work on other projects of mine. However as time went on I found myself focusing more and more on the Patreon pieces and not on opening up commissions as I would need to do. I worked harder then I wanted to have to in order to open as much as I did in October, and that was the most I've opened in one month then ever. My lack of opening commissions is not due to Patreon, however. But I do need to focus more on my other work and on sustaining myself as an artist. Having the more reliable income is very very appreciated and it makes me hesitant to even seriously alter what we have here as that will likely lead to a serious hit to the income not to mention my workload. But it's likely the best course of action from what I can see.

There are three options I can see working. This isn't a vote or anything like that. I am just putting on the table what three directions this is going to go. Voice your opinions to me in DM's or as a comment if you want to discuss something here. I do want to hear what you have to say. Any changes made will be done on January 1st 2020, so there is no need to feel like this is rushed at all!

Option 1: Heavily alter what we have. This means a slew of things. We would be getting rid of the things I do every month that's not directly a reward for someone. Things like the freebie streams and wallpaper every month. As well I would be moving the prices of all the tiers to match a better $/hr for my efforts. This could mean I reduce the effort in the rewards too. Then up the prices of my commissions now. I finally spent the time looking over my expenses vs how much I can work and I suspect that to be heavily influencing my commission prices going forwards.

Option 2: Change the Patreon to be stream-focused. Basically attempt a different way to achieve the original goal of working on my own projects and not feel like I am wasting time with them. How that would work is I find my dollar per hour I need to "work" and set up goals starting at the first 3 hours then one hour past that. With the time we get, I put up a pull to decide what I stream for the allotted time. All of them being things that I want to actually do just not made the time for yet. things like working on practice arts (and sharing the thoughts so we can learn together), finishing prop stuffs I have around, working on extreme challenges in games, or even the rare and elusive traditional stream. The rewards would be totally gone but I might have the poll weighted toward people that support at higher tiers and have an outtro thing thanking people that made it happen.

Option 3: Just delete it. The concern is that even if I change the prices of stuff I would have to move things around yet again in the future. Just axe it entirely and build it up later when I have the opportunity in my life again. But better.
