When you make a filter, that means that anything tagged with that very word I'm filtering out makes it so I don't see the thumbnails, right?

...so how come *I'm seeing the thumbnails to things I have filtered out*? It wasn't like this before, last I checked.

Those filters were one of my main reasons for signing up on this site and now they only sort of work? What gives?
