I'm sorry guys, but I've got to delay my official "OPEN" for commissions.

I didn't want to have to do that, I was hoping to set myself a date and be able to keep it, but the date I set is rapidly approaching and I'm not even remotely ready.

Part of the reason is my full-time job is starting to eat into my personal time some.

For the past month I've pretty much had to put in at least 10+ hours of overtime on each paycheck, that's about 5 extra hours a week, and I'm afraid I may be doing this for another month or so.

However, if nothing changes in this next month, I'm done busting my ass. I'm doing what I can to show some good faith and to show that I do care about my job and I want to do it right but if my cries for help go unanswered for much longer, I'm done.

Needless to say this is what's had me so mentally and physically exhausted that even on the weekends I find myself sleeping most of my free time away.

Anyway, enough of that.

Unfortunately I'm having to push my commission opening back, but hopefully not by much.

I've still got to get my prices set, I need to get my commission status submissions finished, and I'm going to spend some time this weekend setting up my Commission Information and such on Google Docs this weekend.

Not to mention I would like to get MOST of my currently in progress art finished before I open for commissions, and I'd like to debut some of my new characters (you've seen all but one of them, just don't know exactly who they are) before then as well.

Just hang tight guys, I'm definitely going to open for commissions, I just want to be absolutely sure I'm ready before I do. I don't want to jump the gun and get myself overwhelmed or anything.

Good news is this time when I open I plan to make them a more consistent thing, so there shouldn't be such a long period of time between openings.

Okay, enough of that. I'm off to work on all that Google Docs stuff.

After that I'll probably spend the weekend working on my commission pricing art (Butterscotch Cheesecake, Punching Bag & Paradise).
