Since the last journal update in July, Found out the antidepressant I was on for a while was not suited for my current moods/issues and found what it truly has been and on the right meds. Took 6-8 weeks to step off the old med and be at the full dose of the new but I can tell a major difference on the transition. Moods do feel a lot more stable, or if something sparks my temper or a mood another direction it isn’t manic or extreme in nature for long if at all. More to how I should be. I still have a nightly alcoholic drink, but the urge to have 2+ has gone away almost completely. And consistently. So that’s back to how I was when had a balance. Got motivation and a routine back and keep myself productive vs sitting all day.

Business wise still slow and been a slow but forward process to get the bad properties sold/off our hands and use the funds to invest in better opportunities. We are almost done signing papers for a new property that has 3 apartments and clean it up to rent out for more income (what the area goes for now on such size apartments). While that wont turn into profit (Income my way for the salary) soon, its still a step in the right direction.

However, it isn't going to happen soon enough to help me in the financial avalanche that my current income cant compete with. And starting next year I also have to have an extra 8000$/year to cover insurance and taxes on this house. Even if I get a part time or full time job where can still do real estate and side work when I want, most of that income would just go to that and not much anything else. And that's not a direction I really feel like going. While I love the space for events and the car lifts to do a lot of car side work and store projects, I don’t love it THAT much anymore to deal with the financial burden to maintain keeping this anymore.

So when dad comes into town next week, going to have talks on him about some options I am thinking with the house and in general and get his input. This house is paid off/free and clear, so can either rent out half the place and I live on the lower half and see if that helps me scrape by to keep this place, or maybe sell the house, sell most of my stuff and project cars and clear all debts with the family and maybe have some left over to restart elsewhere basically debt free. Neither way has been thought heavily on all the details, but figure something to note.

As for commission project stuff I mentioned was having some issues in the last update, most of those got mended and communication issues cleared up. Keeping them moving on track long as my finances are there to progress it when got it to splurge. Which is fine with me.
