Just realized I didn't do a post-con journal, so here it is, I guess. XD And no worries, I'll put a summary of the journal at the bottom because y'all know I'm wordy as well.

MFM was amazing! I had a great time! Since the mate and I started re-attending it (we stopped due to a misunderstanding on how far away it was, lol. Biggest regret ever), this has been my best one. Partly due to some personal issues I have managed to tackle (yay for therapy being a thing, yo!) but also just in general I had a lot of fun with it. I didn't do as much artwork at it this time, though I did a little bit of practicing.

I managed to get a cute, lil' dragon art doll for my collection! Unfortunately his paint came off in a few places due to being in my backpack the entire time, so I'll have to touch it up eventually. I also got an adorable little dino toy. (I'm more of a scaly fan than I realized, it seems, lol.) Got some cute badges as well. Auction was a bust, lol, because I spent most of my money beforehand. I did get a cute book of some of the Tiger Haven kitties and got some bonus images as well, including some photos and short videos of the liliger babies. <3 Oh, and I won a scavenger hunt someone was running too! I got a farting baby bat toy, lol. Thinking about giving it to my nephew because I'm evil like that. XD

I just barely managed to finish my art doll in time for the art auction. It including creating clothing for the first time, so that was definitely a challenge; especially with the time crunch! She sold well, though! It's exciting to sell my very first art doll. I also displayed some of my other dolls in the art gallery and they apparently got complimented on a few times. I'm so proud of myself! ^_^

For work-wise, I did a bit of volunteering. Not as much as Norv did, lol. He got second place for most volunteer hours again. I warned him if he kept it up, he'll get the "staff infection" (I love that joke), but he enjoys it. He mostly just hangs out in the game room, which is where he'd be anyways. For me, I helped out a lot with the fursuit games set up and running of it. It was a lot of fun! And the suiters seemed to enjoy it too. I went to the cub room at one point, but didn't get to visit it again. I love the little squishy paw I got from there. ^_^ I also helped out with the puppet show, including actually preforming in it this year! It was a lot of fun, but my arm was seriously tired afterwards. Oh! And I also had a blast at the primal party they had. Apparently I'm getting a bit of a reputation at it for being small but mighty, hehe.

This was also our first time ever for a con being above the general attendee level. It's awesome that we're in a position well enough to do that. And it was great! I loved the swag we got (including a really cute etched glass). We also got into the super sponsor reception that was great. Though getting encouraged to do birthday jello shots was difficult, lol. I handled my drink(s) much better this year, other than a short lil' bit of trouble with over eating on the yummy snacks at one point. ^_^;;;

All in all, the con was amazing! Though apparently a little too amazing. As much as I was teasing the mate about volunteering too much, apparently I made an impression on helping out with the fursuit stuff. So I'm apparently staff with the fursuit track now! I'm a touch nervous, but I'm very excited! I love this con a lot so I'm honored to be asked to join the family in a more hands-on way. <3

So now that the con is over, things are back to normal. I've tried to dive hard into the owed artwork/designs for MichShelly's comics so I don't fall behind. At least I don't think I'm behind yet. ^_^;;; I've also been doing a bit of thinking about what I want to do with my artwork. So I might experiment here and there a bit. I haven't been doing as much personal art, I feel like, so that would be good to change.

TL;DR: MFM and birthday was great! I am now staff with the con. Sold my first art doll. Getting back into artwork stuff and trying to figure out what I want to do now with my art.
