Commissioner and Artist Conduct Agreement! by kangabanga

❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧ COMMISSIONER AND ARTIST CONDUCT AGREEMENT! ❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧
Ground rules apply to all commission types. By seeking to purchase a commission from me, Kangabanga, you are agreeing to the terms outlined in the Commissioner and Artist Conduct Agreement.

Kangabanga, will be herein referred to as "artist", and the purchaser, will be herein referred to to as "commissioner".

Full payment must be received by the artist prior to work on the commission starting. Invoices will be made via paypal, and payment is expected to be received within 48 hours of invoice. Commission prices listed may be changed due to complexity of work or necessity of additional edits to commissioned piece and must be agreed upon in writing by both the commissioner and the artist. In the case which the commissioner would like to add additional revisions, add-ons, or additional detail added to a piece, there will likely be an additional charge.

The commissioner or the artist may cancel a commission at any time prior to the confirmation of the initial sketch. In the event of a cancellation by the commissioner prior to the confirmation of the initial sketch, the commissioner agrees to be liable for a cancellation fee of up to 15% of commissioned work's total value, in addition to any incurred fees via electronic money transfer (IE Paypal) during refund. In the event of a cancellation by the commissioner after the confirmation of the initial sketch, the commissioner agrees to be liable for a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the commissioned work's total value, in addition to any incurred fees via electronic money transfer (IE Paypal) during refund. Repeated ordering and cancellation may result in the refusal of the artist to work with the commissioner.

In the event of an artist cancellation, the artist will be responsible for a full refund, as well as any fees incurred via electronic money transfer during refund.

Commissioner agrees to be open to contact by the artist in regards to edits during both the sketch approval and the final piece approval. Edits may be requested at these times. Contact is expected within 72 hours of artist's contact in regards to approval or commissioner agrees to waive the ability to request edits to piece at that time without additional fees. If the artist is not able to contact the commissioner, the commissioner is waiving the ability to ensure that the art is delivered at deadline.

A standard deadline for a commission is to be considered 2 weeks. However, due to the size, complexity, and details involved in a commission, the artist may require additional time. Time frames and deadline windows are to be negotiated prior to invoicing, and must be agreed upon by both parties in writing. Deadlines under 10 days time may be subject to additional fees.

Artist agrees to contact the customer at two points for approval: after the completion of the initial sketch (at which time the commissioner may request additional edits to the pose, background, and general structure of the piece) and again at the completion of the final piece (at which time the commissioner may request additional minor edits to the image or colors). Once the final edits to the image is made, the artwork will be posted to furaffinity unless prior arrangement is made.

Commissioner agrees not to reproduce the artists work for any monetary gain. Artworks may not be resold, and the commissioner agrees to not claim the artwork as their own. The commissioner may repost the artwork to furaffinty or to other sites so long as there is a link provided to the artist's furaffinity account. Images created by the artist may be edited by the commissioner for the creation of icons only.

Commissioner agrees that the artist may use the art produced as samples for their portfolio in order to help illustrate their work to potential buyers. Artist will NOT resell or sell reproductions of a commissioned work.

Artist and Commissioner agree that any alterations to above terms must be negotiated and agreed upon by both artist and commissioner and provided in writing.
