Fursonacon / Virginia Beach, VA / 05-08SEP2019 //

In my quest to try and attend more of the smaller cons and East Coast cons that I’ve never attended, (or have only attended once a hot minute ago,) here’s to the next on my list! I kicked off these travels with MegaPlex, and now I’m high-tailing it north to Fursonacon! It’s come highly recommended by some friends, and I’m eager to check it out!

Although apparently it’s already been announced (not by myself, mind you, which I don’t exactly appreciate,) that I’m attending Fursonacon, this is my /official/ announcement and convention meme! Contained herein is info on what fursuits to look out for, events I’m planning on attending, and more!

It’s the newest, very streamlined, and easy-to-use site where you can upload photos from conventions and tag events, fursuiters, makers, and photographers! If you’re a performer, finding photos is as simple as searching your character name or the event! It’s really well-made and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!

-Basic Convention Info-

-Where are you staying?
The main hotel! This will be my first time attending FSC>

-What day are you getting there?
I will randomly appear sometime Friday.

-How are you traveling?
Wings! And not the kind you get from Red Bull, lol.

-How long are you going?
Friday through Sunday. A good chunk of time to check out a little convention for my first time attending!

-What is the best way to find you?
Keep an eye out for myself running around in fursuit! Sniper, Raze, the quadsuit, and Nope are coming with me! I’ll be wearing badges for whichever suit I’m in at the time.
If nothing else works and you need to get a hold of me for something, (such as picking up a Badge Commission or a Print,) please note me here or send me a Direct Message on Twitter! ( https://twitter.com/Twilight_Saint ) Twitter is the best and quickest way of contact for me as I will receive mobile notifications.

-If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Shout out any combination of ‘TwilightSaint, Twilight, Saint,’ or the name of the fursuit I’m wearing at the time!
If I’m in suit, please get in front of me and into my field of vision so I can see you! While in suit and really performing in character, I tend to move very quickly and may not see you if you’re standing to the side or behind me. You can also tap me on the shoulder!
In addition, and if I’m busy at the moment or if you’re simply shy, feel free to approach my friend and handler with me! If you’re looking for a photograph or simply to say hi, my handlers are always amazing, dedicated folks, and will definitely get my attention for you, even if I’m in full raptor mode and killing somebody on the floor, hehe!

-Personal Info-

-What is your gender?
Male. And not the ‘alluring’ type, sorry not sorry to burst your bubble. You know who you are. You should feel bad for talking about another human being in that manner, especially another person you don’t even know and have never spoken to. Referring to me in that manner is extremely off-putting and makes me incredibly uncomfortable. And as a strictly asexual man, (yes, we exist,) referring to me in that sexualizing manner is not appreciated in the slightest. I’m not an object, I’m not a mystery. Stop.

-How tall are you?
Tall enough.

-Can I talk to you?
Yes! Just forgive the sailor’s mouth.
Also, and this is very important for me to repeat.
I DO NOT TALK IN FURSUIT.
Friendly reminder that I don’t talk in suit while acting in character, and I prefer not to hold long conversations while in suit due to it being hard to hear you, and I also don’t want to lose my voice by yelling so that you can hear me. So please, do not anticipate me to speak much while in fursuit. And especially, especially, please do not attempt to coerce me to speak or physically corner me and/or physically encroach on my personal space to force me to speak to you.

-Can I touch you?
Only if you have gotten my attention, I’ve acknowledged you to notify you that I can see you, (while I’m in fursuit,) and if I’ve given you permission. Fursuiting does not equal consent.

-Can I buy you drinks?
Yep! Only if it’s sealed or if I’m present and have eyes on while it’s being served. This also applies to water in the fursuit lounge or backstage at dance auditions/events.

-Can I give you food?
Yes! says in deepest voice possible PROTEINNNNN.

-Can I give you stuff?
Sure, if you’d like! I appreciate art and trinkets and the like.

-Can I hug or snuggle with you?
Please ask before touching/hugging me! (Or any fursuiter/cosplayer for that matter!) Hugs are fine, yes! Please make sure I’ve seen you, though! While in suit, I may not see you since my peripheral vision is blocked. Just move in front of me and wait for me to acknowledge that I see ya.
Also please note, (and this goes for almost any fursuiter, really,) if you are hanging onto me or standing up against me and I move to step back, please give me space! This isn’t because you’ve offended me or otherwise, it’s simply because I am VERY HOT and need some space to get air circulating around my body and face while in suit! In cramped quarters next to lots of similarly warm people, the temperature in my fursuit rises very quickly, and the best way for me personally to cool down is to have ample space where I can get airflow around and through my fursuit. Please. Give. Me. Space!

-Are you nice?
Nah way, man. Expect me to just out and whack you with Raze’s tail every chance I get. I’M KIDDING, haha.

-Can I come with you for food/fun/etc?
Please be advised that my schedule at conventions is very dynamic and centered around Dance events! And while I am fursuiting, I have zero access to my phone and thus messages if you’re trying to reach me. While I sure do my best to meet up with folks, sometimes my schedule is very hectic and plans are made last-minute.
Again, I must reiterate – while in suit, I have ZERO access to my phone! Yes, that means Telegram, Twitter, and any other sort of social media or messages. If you happen to message me while I’m suiting, (which I do A LOT at conventions,) I will not reply because I don’t have my phone on me! I will see it when I get out of suit. So please be patient!

-Can I take your picture?
In suit, yes please! I loooove looking through con pictures and videos after conventions – such great memories! If you happen to take any, please link them to me or tag me on social media!

-Convention Plans-

-Are there any panels you might be attending?
I’ll be checking in and auditioning for the Dance Competition! I’ll also be attending the fursuit photoshoot and the fursuit parade. I’ll also try to attend the FurTubers panel, and browse around the Dealers Den in fursuit! Fursuit, fursuit, fursuit!!! Have I said that enough yet, just how many hours straight I’ll be fursuiting?

-Will you be suiting?
Until this current body fizzles away in some magic black dust, and I can find the ingredients to create a new body and just continue freaking fursuiting. Only I can fursuit forever…

-What suit(s) is/are you bringing?
Sniper, the Kestrel King, and Raze, your Raptor Boyfriend! Also Sniper’s feral form via the quadsuit, and Nope, the K9 Monster!

-Do you have an artist table?
Nope! Wanna Commission me? Keep an eye out for my Journals and Twitter updates instead!

-Where will you be most of the time during the day/s?
Running between panels and dance events, and suiting absolutely everywhere! Evenings will be reserved for chilling, chow, and then the raves. I will do my best to put out a report of my intended movements and fursuit I’ll be running around in prior to going full beast mode! This is so folks know which fursuit to keep an eye out for if they’d like a photo or to say hi!

-Will you be performing?
Hell yeah, a lot! Other than typical fursuiting absolutely everywhere all the time, (haha,) I’ll be attending the dance-centered events, and the nightly raves as well!

-What/where will you be eating?
Anywhere nearby. I like to stay in the immediate vicinity of the con to ensure I don’t miss events, so I usually prefer to grab ‘n go snacks in my room. But I sure have a lot of folks I can’t wait to see again and catch up with over a good meal!

-Will you be going to parties?
Nah, I’m not huge into partying! But if I’m invited, I always try and stop by to say hi and visit with folks!

-What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
Just hoping that my friend’s and my travels go safely and smoothly, that we all have a blast and fursuit until our hearts give out, and generally have a good time checking out this new little con! <3 Also hoping that people are generally respectful and no unwanted advances are made, and that myself and my friends feel safe and comfortable at a place where we’re supposed to just be having fun and visiting each other.
