It only took me four years since making this account, but I think I'm finally ready to use it!
I've been drawing on and off for the better part of my life at this point, but as of last year I really started to buckle down and take practice seriously! Then, as of this year, due to some life circumstances sadly beyond my control... I sorta petered out, oops. BUT THEN, as of LAST WEEK, in a shocking twist, I got back on the saddle, nabbed a vacant table in the Furrydelphia artist alley, and started taking commissions! And y'know what? It was pretty gosh dang fun!
Now, just because people were willing to pay me once in an impulse-buy convention setting doesn't mean I think I can rest on my laurels. I know I still have a long way to go before I'm "great" or even "good." There are many issues still present in my art and many holes in my skill set, but I'm determined to do my best to keep on practicing. My hope is that by finally putting myself out there like this, I can garner enough support and encouragement to carry me through.
So here I am now, hoping to keep the ball rolling with that positive convention momentum! That experience was just the kick in the butt I needed to get myself going again, so I'm finally setting up my galleries and ready to do things right!
