Just sharing for those who may not know yet, DeviantArt is working on changing the site layout. It's not currently available to everyone who has an account yet, but their new layout is fully visible if you are logged out. You can take a peak at what theya re doing at the moment and look a their [current] Light/dark modes.



They say they are working on changing the Light/Dark modes because many of us have complained that light is too light and hurts eyes and dark is too dark and gives migrains. SO, the light/dark color pallet will end up being changed.


Now you guys won't be as left out of the loop. You can't access the tools logged out, but you can at least see what's going on. My profile is Eclipse-ready if you be curious about how a profile can look.

    That's to DeviantArt, not you. Can't comment on their journals because I'm banned for being a bullying victim. Oh, joy.

      Aw that sucks. DA does arbitrarily enforce their rules. I mean, some trash commented (to everyone on my gore art) that he would shoot everyone who liked that art with a shotgun, and staff did nothing about this guy when I reported him. Hes still running across DA just fine. Not even a suspention for threatening peoples lives over a drawing.

        Yeah. They did nothing about the killing art that I reported unless I kept nagging them about it which apparently warranted one of the admins to use an alt when taking down the art after his first account refused to do so, claiming "it's not hate art", but I still knew it was him by his icon and his name. That's just really unprofessional, pretending to be someone else after being called out for not doing his job. :/
        I guess I'll stay here for the time being while I wait for ArtRise.
        As a gore artist myself, I can understand someone being repulsed by violent content, but is threatening to shoot them to death not violent? That, at least in my opinion, would definitely warrant administrative action.
        Shame that DeviantArt is not what it used to be.
