Commission TOS by ManaPuddingFox

Last updated: 2/1/14

Usage Rights and PermissionsI have the right to use the commissioned work for my own use- including but not limited to posting them to online galleries, personal websites, using them as examples, social media (twitter, tumblr, etc), and using them in art portfolios.

For customer usage rights, please click this link

Please be sure you have permission to use the characters you want in your commission. If for instance you are using someone else’s character in the commission, I may request a note from the person who owns the character letting me know I have permission to draw them. I will also need their name to give them credit when posting.

Subject Matter

I reserve the right to refuse ANY request on any grounds I deem necessary.

For what I will and will not draw, click here

Process

Please give me all details before the commission is started, including references which will be needed. I don’t work well with typed out descriptions of characters, so I need something. It is your responsibility to tell me what you want, I can’t read minds~

Depending on what you ordered, there are usually three phases to a commission: sketch, outline, and color. If of course, you ordered a sketch- then there is only the one phase. For outline, only two. At the end of each phase I'll show you what the commission looks like with a preview watermark over it through email. The watermark is for my own protection and will only be removed once the commission is approved and completed.

Majority of all changes should be requested during the sketch phase- from pose changes to minor changes. It is important for you to review the sketch carefully and tell me everything you want changed, if you want changes. There is a limit to how many times I will make changes to the picture. When I show you a preview of the outline, only minor changes should be requested (if there is something missing from the character etc). No changes are to be requested once I have started the coloring phase- unless it is a color issue.

Completed commissions are posted to my gallery but are also sent to you by email. If you want to remain anonymous when I post the commission PLEASE tell me ahead of time.

Payment

I request full payment of the commission before I start on it. I only accept Paypal for a form of payment. DO NOT indicate anything furry in the description when paying with paypal! Only put your username and "commission" in the description. I do not take multiple payments, only the full payment. PLEASE commission me only if you know you can pay! Things do happen, but don’t claim a slot you know you can’t pay for. It’s not fair to me or people who would want a commission and can pay for it.

Refunds and Cancellation

  • If you claimed a slot and have not paid for your commission and you cancel, then nothing is owed and I will simply remove you from the list.
  • If you paid for your commission and the sketch hasn’t been started, then I will refund you the full amount back. You are then removed from the list.
  • If you cancel once the sketch has started, then I will refund you back 75% of the total. You are then removed from the list.
  • If you cancel once the outline has started, then I will refund you back 50% of the total. You are then removed from the list.
  • Once coloring has started you cannot cancel your commission.

Upgrading

If you purchase a sketch commission or outline commission and want to get it outlined or colored by me- you may. You would have to reserve a new slot and you would pay the difference of what you want done minus what you already have. You are also allowed to go to someone else to upgrade your commission HOWEVER I do wish to talk to the artist you go to ahead of time and I require credit to be given to me for the part that I did when it is completed and posted. As well as a link back to be, to the commission I did.
