I just did the same thing here that I did for the first full year of using FA, where I didn't realize you had to manually enable mature content.

Here I am browsing some familiar artists going, "wow, @rem has barely posted anything to Weasyl. I wonder why"

    XD That reminds me of one of my friends who joined the furry fandom through FA wondering what all the fuss was about for 3 years on nsfw art. They never changed their settings.

        I think filters are kind of a problem when it comes to Furaffinity. Makes me wish they'd have kept the tag blocking feature. I know many ways it could have worked and saved memory to allow the site to run. I have to try to ignore all of the scat on the site without it.
