A lot of work has gone into the Vore Tournament project during the past months. From implementing fun new features to fixing many essential bugs, the latest development version is the most stable and refined version of the game as of yet. I decided the project has reached the maturity needed for its second release. Below I will share the release plan and what I would like to do next before finally publishing the update:

• I'm aiming to release the next Vore Tournament version next month. If no delays are caused by game breaking bugs or unforeseen personal issues, VT 2.0.1 should be out by mid to late July 2019.

• The official announcement containing all the details will be made available to +1$ patrons for a limited time, after which it will become public to everyone else. Patrons pledging at least one dollar will have access to immediate instructions and support for running the new version. Everyone else can still download and run the release on their own, but will have to wait roughly 2 - 4 weeks for access to the official announcement and the support it provides.

• Starting from the date of this post, I'm opening a two week period dedicated to multiplayer testing. Since I develop the project on my own, I'm unable to test online games and rely on verifying my work exclusively with bots. If you're running the development version (Git repository, NOT release) either reply below or contact me in PM so we can arrange a few online games! If you know someone else running VT from Git please bring them in as well: The more players the better! Being able to test online gives me a higher probability of catching bugs I may have otherwise missed.

• During this interval VT is entering feature freeze mode. I won't be working on major features, only small changes I have the certainty won't introduce new bugs.

• Once 2.0.1 is out, I plan to start preliminary work on preparing for 2.1.0 this year. The 2.0 series was dedicated to getting the code and mechanics in order; 2.1 will focus on improving art and content, aiming to create the full experience VT was intended to offer its players.
