I have finally moved on from my decade old monitor! It's something i've been planning to do for a while now, but last week it decided to not give me a choice. So here's a quick rambling on the situation;
Woke up one morning and it just refused to turn on. Dead, kaput, no signs of life whatever. Had to order a new one, and my god the difference is phenomenal. From 19" to 24", 1080p (I know i'm late on this one), IPS panel instead of TN. Everything is so vibrant and clear, even my own art doesn't look anything remotely close to when i drew it. It's a bit overwhelming to be honest.
This will take some getting used to, particularly on the eyes, so i've paused my current pics and won't be doing commissions for a bit longer. Instead, i'll probably make a free YCH or two while i adjust. And who knows, maybe it'll make a noticeable difference in the quality of my art. A guy can hope, right?
