I do work in a place where I see the strange and the bizarre, but also some very heartwarming things.

So, yesterday two Police Officers came into the Library for a particular reason (of which I cannot divulge the details) and just as they were set to leave--one of the checkout desk staff came back to tell the officer that a little boy dressed in a full (child's playtime) police uniform just came in and had been talking about the squad car out front.

Would the either of the officers want to go say "hi" to the child before he left?

The one officer was just very excited and eagerly went to greet the child--but not just that!!! He took the kid and his mom out to the squad car, let them sound the siren and took them on a little drive of the parking lot!!!

You know that kid is going to remember this moment forever. :)
