The Best of Times, The Okay-est of Times by Mykell Wildfire

It's been...A pretty rough month, hasn't it?  For a lot of people.  Hell, as much as I think things are really dragging on my end, I can't help but feel it pales in comparison to things happening to others I talk to.  Kinda leaves me in the awful position of feeling bad both over my own hardships and for feeling bad in the presence of the hardships of others.

As much as I strive to be a logical being, it's hard to overcome the natural irrational nature of humanity.

Much of it has been mundane junk like "Sit down with some free time and generate the motivation to do something fun and/or productive -> Get interrupted by something that kills my mood or pulls me away from said thing 5 minutes later."

Others include my fiance and I having to cancel a hotel stay for the local convention due to spending much of our reserve money on emergencies, my TV deciding to die after sitting down to relax following my mood being smashed by stressful news.  Follow that up the next day with my car getting repossesed and getting more and more of the runaround by the company responsible to workman's comp regarding me getting carpal tunnel surgery.

Ugh, just recounting everything is making my ability to properly format this journal a pain.  I'm sorry.  However, with any luck, things may be turning around in the near future.

We have a car just about ready to pick up, but we need to come up with $1k pretty fast to get it.  Rawz I think has about that and I get paid tomorrow.  If we can find a little extra, we can get the car and not be about broke for the next 2-3 weeks and stress about bills.  We are also going to be getting another housemate next month.  We need to get the extra room cleaned out, as long as he can find stable work, things will def be easier on all of us and let us actually save money.

Trying to temper my expectations here, though.  It's been a while since things have gone right for more than a day or two before a week-long downturn.

We did manage to attend the local convention via a lift from my father to and from.  Was only able to attend on Friday and Saturday, but it was a much appreciated distraction and period to unwind a bit.  Today was spent kinda tidying up around the house.  On a good note, thanks to some research and videos, I figured out what was wrong with my TV and managed to fix it (broken solder joints on a not-so-intuitively-placed connecter).  That's at least a few hundered bucks I don't have to throw away for repairs or a replacement.

Regarding streaming, writing and such:
Still trying to find a groove to get back into it.  As I said, it's been really hard lately to do either.  I've got this Tuesday off before a long work week and a return to the normal split schedule.  I'm gonna TRY to hunker down and do something productive on Tuesday, so keep an eye out for that.

That's all I got for now.  Here's hoping for a more positive turn of events for March.  If anyone feels so inclined (and I by no means expect it from anyone), I do accept donations via Ko-Fi.  Anything donated will go towards getting things stabalized around here for now until our normal income can handle everything alone as well as leaving some to save.  If you're interested in giving anything, check the links below.  I wish I'd have something substantial to give for any beyond my sincere thanks.

(If you don't wish to use Ko-Fi, I also have a donation page through streamlabs here: https://ko-fi.com/mykellwildfire )

Thanks again to all of you, and I'll catch ya again soon.
