A brand new poem of mine appears in the latest issue of IDK Magazine:
"The Scraps That Choke the Cutter"
As with a lot of my recent pieces, the form of the poem is inspired by Armand Schwerner's The Tablets, a long series of poems that imitate, pay tribute to, and satirize English renderings of ancient clay tablet literature such as The Epic of Gilgamesh.
More about Armand Schwerner:
This is the first of my Schwerner-esque poems to appear, and I'm hoping it's the first of many.
