If you have DA Core, I just want to mention that DA is having Beta Testers give feedback and help with their New Site Layout, Eclipse. I do suggest that if you have the ability to, to put in some feedback from time to time. danlev gives Weekly Updates to Bug Fixes, future planned features, and other things if you want to keep track of how things are coming along, too. On those journals there is also Feedback Links for you to point out bugs, suggest features and improvements, and your overall opinions. Help the site grow.
Do keep in mind that the Layout is in BETA, that means things WILL change. It is in the Testing Phase. You guys just have to give feedback about said things you would like to see changed.
How to Check out Eclipse Beta
1. Be a Beta Tester
2. Eventually on your MORE TAB you will have the option to try out Eclipse. CLICK IT
3. Prepare yourself mentally before ranting and give yourself a few days to check it out. Get a feel of the features and determine what it is you like or want to see improved. Give them proper critique and feedback so that the site can grow.
To GET OUT of Eclipse, there is an option in your drop down menu to flip a switch to return. You can switch anytime during the testing phase.
Sharing this whole thing with all of you because I know there's plenty core members, but I dunno if you guys know about this. I also see a lot of people who go in yelling like its the end of the world and then rage quitting the layout even though it isn't even finalized. Help it grow in a positive way. THIS IS THE BEST TIME to tell DA what types of features you Really really want to see.

Does it still look like a carbon copy of Art Station or have they changed it ? when I had betta I did take a quick look and I had trouble telling it apart from ArtStation.

The thing is, in my opinion art station is actually pretty dang basic visually and non-unique to begin with. all art sites technically have the same features (including weasyl) but with their own thing added to it. But yeah, da has mainly been working and updating new features for it and bug fixes rather than visual changes as the moment. Id like them to work on both rather than one at a time. Theyve been working on customization widget, getting eclipse to work with liturature, and fixing bugs on features they currently have.

That's good to know! I haven't looked at Eclipse in months so hopefully, it turns out to be something nice and usable. Art Station does look very vanilla in all honesty.
Makes me wonder if Sofurry is ever going to do those proposed updates they talked about 2 years ago though. I know that's pretty unrelated but dang.

I just got Eclipse since being on the waiting list. Since the last time I was able to use it, it looks like they actually worked on a few of the concerns I had. Not Visually, but the broken stuff was worked on. Oh Actually, they did make my art visible from Landing Page, so I guess a bit visually. Man do they need to work on their Themes, though. Dark is still too dark making my art look so bad.

XD Two DA related journals in a row. I'm also cross posting all journals because I feel that all our sites are pretty connected anyways. I figure a good amount of folks might have a DA as well as a Weasyl. Most folks tend to.
